Rebuild Tampa helps students find their way discovering, learning, and earning money working in trades and professional jobs during the summer.

Students learn life & work skills that help them confidently launch a career.

  • 15-24 years of age (high school age+)
  • Reliable transportation to attend training and worksite locations
  • Attend orientation/camp & pre-training
  • Motivation to do the work and receive support in building a sustainable career
  • Not on probation, wanted, or currently facing criminal charges
  • No tolerance for alcohol or drug use
  • Meeting & work attendance required
  • Open communication with leaders

  1. Submit online application
  2. Personal interview, share reference letters
  3. If invited: Consent forms signed & Parent/guardian authorization
  4. Attend Rebuild Character Training (1 week paid)
  5. If selected to participate, begin 8 week paid work program

SUMMER 2025 CALENDAR

Jan 1-May 2: Applications taken online for students interested in participating in the Summer 2025 Rebuild work

May 28: Deadline to submit three (3) personal reference letters (one parent/guardian, one school admin or teacher, and one non-relative)

May 31: In-person interviews (by appointment only)

June 2-4 Rebuild Character Camp (required interview process)

June 5: Official offers are extended to selected summer hires

June 16: First day of work

August 1: Last day of work

Rebuild lives and homes through job readiness, discipleship, professional and construction-related trade training.
